Much to his dismay, he interprets Belshazzr's response that it is time to go courting. Ruth comes into his life but so much depends on the arrival of the first blue bird. 564p: illustrated endpapers and prelims, 3 colour plates; 20cm. 763g. Good (text block sound, light shelfwear and soiling to cloth, penciled note front endpaper, hinges intact but binding slightly loose in case, frontispiece has been removed causing some damage to the title-page).
